QalamPaper

Frequently asked questions

Answers about QalamPaper: board papers, classes and boards, Urdu medium, lesson plans, free PDF tools, subscriptions and support.

What is QalamPaper?

QalamPaper is an examination platform for schools, colleges and academies. Teachers generate board-style papers from a large question bank, run secure timed online exams, and publish results — all inside their institute's own workspace.

Which classes and boards are covered?

Classes 1–12 plus O and A Level, across Federal, Punjab, AFAQ, Cambridge and OxfordAQA boards — with MCQs, short and long questions for every subject.

Are Oxford board questions included?

Yes. OxfordAQA O and A Level questions are part of the bank, syllabus-grounded like the other boards, and available through the same paper wizard.

Can I make a paper for one board only?

Yes. In the paper setup, the Board filter lets you pick Federal, Punjab, AFAQ, Cambridge or OxfordAQA — or All boards together. Both random and manual selection follow the board you choose.

Do papers follow each board's own pattern?

Yes. Papers are generated board-style, with the sections, marks distribution and a complete answer key for the board you selected.

How does paper generation work?

A teacher picks a class, subject and chapters, then chooses random picks or manual selection. The paper follows board patterns with sections, marks and a complete answer key, ready to print.

Is there Urdu medium support?

Yes. Questions are available in English, Urdu, or both for classes 1–10, and papers can be generated in the medium the class actually uses.

What are the interactive labs?

Over 100 animated science labs — friction, circuits, microscopes, chemical reactions and more — where students drag, push and experiment instead of just reading. Try the Friction Lab on the homepage, live.

How does an institute subscribe?

Plans are weekly, monthly and yearly per institute. Log in and contact the platform owner to activate your institute's subscription and add your teachers.

How do I generate a paper?

Log in as a teacher, open the paper wizard, and pick a class, subject and chapters. Then choose random picks or manual selection. The paper follows board patterns with sections, marks and a complete answer key, ready to print.

Do generated papers include answer keys?

Yes. Every generated paper comes with a complete answer key for the board you selected.

Can one paper mix English and Urdu?

Yes — the paper language can be set to English, Urdu, or both.

What lesson plans are available?

Ready-made lesson plans for classes 6–10, listed by class and subject, plus a generator for daily, weekly and monthly plans.

Are the PDF tools really free?

Yes. The PDF tools need no sign-up and no login, and every tool runs in your browser.

What happens to my files when I use a PDF tool?

Nothing leaves your device. The tools process files in your browser and upload nothing to any server, so there is nothing stored to delete later.

Can I edit a scanned PDF?

The Edit tool works on PDFs with a text layer. A scanned, image-only PDF has no text to edit — use the PDF to Text tool's OCR option first, which reads English printed text. Urdu is not supported yet.

I can't sign in — what do I do?

The login page has a contact link for sign-in help, and you can also reach QalamPaper through the contact page.

Does QalamPaper work for academies as well as schools?

Yes. QalamPaper is built for schools, colleges and academies, each inside its own workspace.
